So a while ago when I finished up Horrorwood I had a little down time. I decided for a couple days to see what type of finished artwork I could do in an hour, just for fun. The next couple posts will be some of the work I did in those hours. The first one is of the Hulk, an admitted favorite of mine to draw, I probably have a nice inventory of Hulk sketches that can get me through posting on this blog till 2018. There is the pencils and then I quickly inked it.
It’s a very animated version so I didn’t want to over color it. I had some of my older comics laying around and I wanted to try the halftone pattern work that was featured in older comics for some reason. This one clocked in about 10 minutes under. Probably could have played with the colors more. You can find this sketch and some others on a great new website called Comic Sketch Gallery. It’s run by the same mastermind behind Comic Geek Speak, which have been very supportive of me and Horrorwood in the past.
