Newsarama was nice enough to post a special 5 page preview of Astronaut Dad this morning. We gave them 5 pages of exclusive preview pages which I’ll share with you here.

So Monday begins my favorite month of the year. I’ll be pulling out the Halloween stuff and putting it out here and there around the yard as the month moves along. I’ve already had the Halloween bug for a month. My goal is to post more in October now that things have slowed down a little. Look for links to some of my favorite sites that I love to go to and get into the fall spirit, also just things that I find pretty cool.

Anyway here are the 5 pages of Astronaut Dad that were posted. I hope you give the book a shot. I’m pretty proud of the book. It’s different than anything I’ve done yet.

In the last few weeks or so there has been an incredible documentary on Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko surfing the internet. It was made for the BBC and found it’s way online. Every posted link that I tried up until now has been broken or discontinued. I finally found one that works and gotta say it was pretty awesome. Hopefully a dvd will be released. The production was top notch and just listening to Alan Moore sing his song about Ditko character Mr.A was worth watching the hour long show. Here is a link (hopefully it lasts). So do yourself a favor and learn about comic’s greatest recluse.

Been seeing other artist post a little tease of the set so I figured it’d be cool to finally show a few of the sketch cards that I did for the Marvel Masterpieces card set that hits stores this November. I just got word in an email that the set is sold out already before it even hits stores. This is great news as I’d love to do more of this stuff, it was a lot of fun to be involved in a Marvel card set. I remember collecting comic cards as a kid so it’s pretty cool to be involved in one all grown up.
