I took a week off from posting on this site last week. Seemed like I had a good stretch going there with lots of things coming up to post about. Things are starting to slow down a little now. Spring Con was a blast and I am very excited to have the local two day comic show earlier in the year. I think it was a good move for the long term of Minnesota comic conventions. Thanks again to the fine folks at the MNCBA for putting on such a cool show.
Wrapping up some projects this week and starting on a mini comic as well. I am hoping to scan pencils in later this week and show the process of creating it on the site. I’ll post more about it later. Below are some recent brown board commissions I’ve done for people. Hope you enjoy them.
1. Ras Al Ghul- this first one was a commission for my friend Chris. I couldn’t quite finish it at Springcon so I brought it home to finish up. It’s in the mail today Chris I promise!

2. Sinestro- This Sinestro piece was done while I was at C2E2. I had some down time at the table and nothing gets people to stop at your booth like watching you draw. So this was my drawing to get people to stop and check out my work. It worked out well. I still have this piece if anyone is interested in buying it.
3. Spookytown- This piece is for another friend and fellow illustrator, Cal Slayton. Cal has been working on this project for a few years now and I can’t wait to see it. He’s been asking friends for pin ups for the book and I promised him one a long time ago. I finally delivered. Go check out more on the project here.

4. Two-Face - Finally, this is another commission of everyone’s favorite Gotham City District Attorney. If you ever want to make me happy at a show, just ask me to draw this guy. I love drawing Two-Face.
